+## Seed file decision
+
+- `GatherTradingData.json`: track in git.
+- `GatherTradingData.xlsx`: keep untracked and ignored unless a future workflow explicitly needs the workbook in the repo checkout. The current workflow can regenerate or download the workbook when needed.
